It’s sort of ironic that my last post was about diets, but hey, everyone needs to splurge a little sometimes. Today is National Cheesecake Day, and I know that you’re itching to celebrate as soon as possible. You would expect to find some great deals on this delicious dessert loved by millions, wouldn’t you?

Well lucky for you, I found a few deals around the area. It’s a big day for cheesecake all over the country, but it will be especially big for The Cheesecake Factory. They will be offering up half priced slices all day. What’s more exciting, for them and cheesecake lovers of the world, is that they will also be introducing the winner of their “What’s Your Flavor” competition. The competition had thousands of bakers submit their recipes and the winner would have their cheesecake featured on the menu for a full year. Each slice sold will go to the charity, Feeding America, with a 25 cent donation. The half off deal only works for dining-in guests. Sorry, but you can’t score the special and bring it back to the Serafina or Lunaire pool to enjoy.
Other than The Cheesecake Factory, you can find another half off deal in town. FEZ, a Moroccan-theme d restaurant, used the powers of social media to announce their special deal over Twitter. Mention the Twitter announcement about “Trish’s amazing FEZ cheesecake” and enjoy your holiday.
